Grange program
AUBURN – Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the hall when there will be a memorial program presented by Chaplain Judy Holbrook. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.
Supper, tours
POLAND – A baked bean supper and museum tours at Empire Grove United Methodist Campground, Empire Road, East Poland. will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 26. There will be baked beans, casseroles, coleslaw, rolls, pies and beverages.
The historical museum and other buildings in the community will be open. Cost is adults, $6; children, $3; under 5, free.
Two parades
MONMOUTH – The Monmouth Memorial Day Parade will start at 9 a.m. in North Monmouth. Participants will meet at the North Monmouth Community Church.
The parade in Monmouth Center will start at approximately 10:30 a.m. The parade will start at Cumston Hall.
Blood drive
LISBON FALLS – The Knights of Columbus Council 2358 and the Social and Justice Peace Commission of Holy Trinity Parish are co-sponsoring a blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 4, at the parish hall, 67 Frost Hill Ave. Call 1-800-482-0743 to make an appointment.
