FARMINGTON – The forestry class from Foster Vocational Center participated last week in the 2007 Loggers meet hosted by Region 9 where they placed in 12 of 15 events, Merrill said.

Results included:

• Skidder Driving Competition, third place, Katelyn McHugh, Brandon Plaisted;

• Simulator, third place, Kyle Gammon, Eugene Hyde;

• Cookie Cut, third place, Katelyn McHugh;

• Cross Cut, third place, Shane Morse, Jason Plumer, Eugene Hyde, Luke Rickards;

• Individual Game of Logging, third place, Sam Webber;
