Why don’t people slow down to the posted speed limit?

That would make the highways safer for everyone, and save fuel as well.

I see more people driving 70 mph or more, which, in an accident, will cause more damage and injuries.

I am an ex-police officer and an ex-deputy sheriff, so I have seen plenty of accidents in my time.

Some were really bad ones.

People should slow down and live, and save fuel (which is costly and might not always be there).

Safety always.
