AUBURN – East Auburn earned a pair of wins in recent action in the Major Baseball Division.

Saturday, EA defeated Austin’s 11-6 behind the solid pitching of Alan Nelson. Corey Henderson had the big hit, a 3-run homer. Patrick Buzza also had a key hit and scored twice. Brendan Pelletier banged 2 hits for Austin and scored 2 runs. Desmond Gagne reached base 3 times. . . Monday, EA edged Hardy-Wolf-Downing 3-1. Henderson, the winning hurler who allowed no hits and struck out 12 in 4 innings, aided his cause with a 3-3 night. Nick Rock collected his seventh hit in his last 3 games. Evan Hazelton pitched well for H-W-D, fanning 11 in 5 innings. Brandon Binette contributed a hit and an RBI.
