LEWISTON – Gendron’s Mobile picked up 2 wins in recent action in the Major Division of the South Lewiston Little League to run its record to 8-0. Gendron’s beat Aroostook Fence as Brett Vallee slugged a 3-run homer and Sabin Lavorgna legged out a triple. Three pitchers combined for the win. . . In Wednesday’s game, Gendron’s defeated Hammond Lumber 6-2 behind a fine pitching performance from Valle who struck out 12, and Cody Mousseau who came on in relief. Zachary Bartshe ripped an RBI single, while Vallee and Mousseau socked 2 hits apiece. Jacob Kendall had the lone Hammond hit. Gendron’s will meet second-place Dube Gravel on Monday, and Hammond Lumber next Friday.

LEWISTON – Recent results in the Major Division of Elliot Little League:

Dube Flower picked up 2 wins. Dube blanked Hannaford 4-0 as Brian Wigant struck out 13. Dakota Keene, Wigant and Josh Bussiere were repeat hitters. Colton Bernier led the Hannaford offense. . . Keene tripled and Evan Gosselin doubled to power Dube to a 3-0 win over Mike Morin’s Auto. Wigant earned the pitching victory, fanning 13. Bussiere was credited with a save. Jake Bergeron hurled a fine game for the Automen, striking out 9. Luke Cote doubled and singled.

Rowe Lewiston also earned 2 wins. Rowe nipped Hannaford 4-3 as Brendon Rac had the game-winning hit in the last of the sixth. Dan Tanguay and Lemelin both whacked a 2-bagger. Kyle Lemelin and Ivan Palido combined for the pitching win. Colton Bernier and Conner Perron had multiple hits for the Grocers. . . Coleman Morency cracked 4 hits and Lemelin added 2 as Rowe beat Aubuchon 16-4. Evan Bourassa contributed a double. Palido and Rac combined for the win. Jordan Charest ripped 2 doubles for Aubuchon. Third baseman Peter Tarabasi had a fine defensive game.

Paul Dostie sparked a big rally in the top of the seventh, a 2-run single, as Mike Morin’s Auto defeated Hannaford 9-3. Eric Soucy collected a double and triple. Winning hurler Jake Bergeron aided his cause with 2 hits. Brandon Perron pitched well for the Grocers and had an RBI single. Other hitters were Conner Perron, Bernier and Soucy. Luke Cote was the winning pitcher.
Auburn Suburban

AUBURN – Gee & Bee Sports defeated Rotary 16-5 in the Softball Division. Tianna Harriman sparked the winners with 4 hits. Kennedy Hubbard and Makayla Norcross added 2 each. Amanda Williams was the top stick for Rotary. Kory Norcross hurled a complete game for Gee & Bee, strking out 6.
