AUBURN – Desmond Gagne collected 2 hits, including a 2-run homer to power Austin Associates to a 7-2 victory over HRH in the Major Division of the Auburn Suburban Little League.

Max Soifer enjoyed a 2-2 game. Brendan Pelletier hurled 5 innings for the win, striking out 7. Quinn Fogarty pitched well for HRH, fanning 6 in 3 innings. He also belted 2 hits. Brian Crane pitched the final 3 innings and struck out 9. His 2-run double accounted for all of his team’s runs.

South Lewiston

LEWISTON – Willy Desmarais and Bryan Doyle each cracked 5 hits as Dube Gravel beat Aroostook Fence 17-6 in the Major Division. Winning hurler Michael Wong, who struck out 8, aided his cause with 4 hits. Ben Trytek and Dan Fortier were repeat hitters for the Fencemen.
