Extension meeting

PERU – The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, instead of the regularly planned meeting for June 9, at the Peru Elementary School. A picnic is planned, so members should bring a lunch and beverage. It is the planning meeting for next year.

Networking

RUMFORD – A community networking meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, is scheduled for noon Tuesday, June 12, in the Rumford Public Library community room.

Kellie Cameron, public health nurse, Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, will speak about issues she sees in the communities.

Other agenda items will include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.
