WELLS – Becca Roberts belted a two-run single in the seventh inning to break a tie and lead Oak Hill to a 6-4 victory over Wells in the opening round of the Western Class B softball tournament Wednesday.

Roberts finished with two hits and three RBIs for the Raiders (9-8). Angie Russell had a solid performance on the mound, fanning seven batters en route to the win.

Rachael Plummer smacked two doubles for Wells (9-8).

Falmouth 1, Lisbon 0

LISBON – Kelley Morris came home on a bases-loaded walk in the third inning to plate the game’s only run to give Falmouth a 1-0 softball victory over Lisbon in the Western Class B preliminary-round game.

Eileen Brandis and Paige Wyman had three hits apiece for Falmouth (8-9).

Kerstin Kenney, Christy McAuliffe, Siobhan Riordan, and Vickie Osmond led the Greyhounds (9-6) with two singles apiece.
