The staff of Applebee’s of Center Street, Auburn, and Relay For Life volunteers give “thumbs up” to a successful fundraising event. “A Short Stack for a Tall Cause” raised more than $600 to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Androscoggin County. The relay will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the Edward Little High School track.
Volunteers, Applebee’s raise funds for charity
AUBURN – Applebee’s hosted a pancake breakfast to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Androscoggin County on May 19. The event was a success, raising more than $500 in ticket sales and more than $100 in tips.
Relay For Life is a family event that raises money to help the American Cancer Society save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer and empower individuals to fight back.
The event is also a time to remember those lost to cancer and celebrate those who have survived.
Relay For Life of Androscoggin County will be held at Edward Little High School track on Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16.
