LEWISTON – A surprise party was held on May 12 for Walter and Lillian Cloutier of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their six children and was held at Marco’s Restaurant.

On Feb. 11 the couple renewed their vows at Holy Family Church in Lewiston, where family members attended.

Mr. Cloutier and the former Lillian Cote were married on May 10, 1947, at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston.

Their children and spouses are Richard and Patricia Cloutier, Ronald and Denise Cloutier, all of Lewiston, Daniel and Lynn Cloutier of Orange Park, Fla., and Diane and Steve Ouellette, Robert and Pat Cloutier and Ann and Daniel Dumais, all of Lewiston. They also have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
