LEWISTON – Medora D. Clavet, 96, of Lewiston died Saturday morning, June 9, at d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Auburn on May 28, 1911, the daughter of Gedeon and Amedie (Marchand) Maheux.
She was married to Hector Clavet, who died in 1996. She was a housewife and homemaker for many years.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Basilica.
She loved to read novels, hand painting, puzzles, being with friends and family and we cannot forget to mention she enjoyed hot dogs at Simones for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Edmond Clavet and his wife, Arleen, of Carmichael, Calif., and Emile Clavet and his wife, Georgette, of Lewiston; one daughter, Cecile Poulinand her husband, Ron, of Lisbon Falls; one brother, Wilfred Maheux and his wife, Lucienne, of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Roland Clavet; one sister, Bertha Corriveau; and four brothers, Doria, Donozar, Gerard and Frederick Maheux.
