Recently, President Bush suggested a 50-year presence in Iraq, comparing Iraq to Korea.

I hope others will join with me and the majority of the American people to reject the Republican Party’s insistence on an open-ended commitment for the next 50 years.

Invading Iraq was out of order from the beginning, now worse with so many mistakes. To have Americans protecting Iraq like Korea for 50 years is an impossible strategy.
