Junior’s a true Yankee
Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced that he’ll be joining Hendrick Motorsports next season. For non-racing fans, this is to racing like what Alex Rodriguez joining the Yankees was to baseball. So, in other words, Junior fans, it’s probably too good to actually work.
Fantasy guilt
Justin Verlander reached 102 MPH on the radar gun in the ninth inning of Tuesday’s no-hitter of the Milwaukee Brewers. Radar guns at ballparks should always be taken with a grain of salt, particularly when the home pitcher is involved. And Verlander wasn’t really that dominant…Aw, forget it. I’m just trying to comfort myself for forgetting to start Verlander on my fantasy team.
