Sabattus picked up one win in three tries in recent Apple Valley Babe Ruth League action.

In the second game of a Sunday doubleheader, Tim Levesque notched three singles and the pitching victory as Sabattus trounced Turner, 10-1.

Dillon Tibbetts was a repeat hitter with a triple for Sabattus (4-3). Adam Soucy pitched two solid innings of relief.

Turner scored a 15-1 victory in Game 1. Shawn Berry pitched a three-hitter. Eric Theiss led the Turner attack with three hits.

Monmouth downed Sabattus, 9-2, in a single game on Friday. Miles Bonenfant had three hits and a complete-game win with 10 strikeouts for Monmouth. Parker Ferland added two hits.

Joey Turcotte singled twice for Sabattus.
