Kristin Jacques, a 2003 Lewiston High School graduate, received a bachelor of science degree summa cum laude with a major in nursing during commencement exercises at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., on May 21.

During commencement Jacques was awarded the Rev. Edward H. Finnegan S.J. Award given annually to one graduating senior who exemplifies Boston College’s motto “Ever to Excel.”

Jacques has accepted a position at Boston’s Children’s Hospital and will reside in Newton, Mass. She is the daughter of Ron and Kathy Jacques of Lewiston and the granddaughter of Fernande Jacques of Lewiston and the late Raymond Jacques and Paul and Irene Cote.
