LEWISTON – John M. McKeon has been promoted to senior vice president in deposit operations at TD Banknorth in Lewiston. He will continue to be responsible for corporate records management for the company and for providing management oversight of deposit account services within the Bates Mill facility in Lewiston as well as the operations center in Keene, N.H.

McKeon joined TD Banknorth in 1996 and has 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Banknorth, he served as an operations officer at another large banking company. McKeon is the incoming chairperson of the Androscoggin Regional Council for the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.

A Brunswick resident, McKeon is a 1984 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. A native of Portland, he is a 1980 graduate of Deering High School.
