HUDSON, N.H. (AP) – Police say a man involved in a hit-and-run crash tried to report his car stolen after leaving the scene. The minor crash happened Sunday afternoon in Nashua. Soon after,Wayne Bell, 51, called Hudson police and reported that his car had been stolen.

Bell is charged with filing a false report, resisting arrest and assaulting the Hudson officer who arrested him. Nashua police say they also plan to charge with conduct after an accident.
