Criminal Mischief
A vehicle traveling past 491 Lisbon St. had its window shot out by a BB on June 16 at 1:49 a.m.
The business window of DVD Mania was broken by a rock sometime overnight June 15 – June 16.
A vehicle parked behind 181 Lincoln St. had windows smashed out of it around 3:00 a.m. on June 16.
Two holes were discovered in the vinyl siding of 369 Grove St. that appear to have been caused by a slingshot or a wrist rocket.
Thefts
Two picnic tables were stolen from 1761 Lisbon St. sometime between June 4-5. This is the same address where a Bar-B-Que grill had been stolen a few days earlier.
A LL Bean 21 speed Acadia Mountain Bike was stolen from the hallway of 48 West Bates St. sometime overnight June 15-16.
Two bikes were stolen from outside of 226 Blake St. prior to 1 p.m. on June 17.
On June 17 at 6 p.m. a spectator at the Skate Park had his custom built BMX style bicycle stolen. The bike was locked to the fence, but the suspect was able to tear the lock apart and take off with the bike.
Burglaries
An apartment at 84 Hackett St. was burglarized on June 11. The suspect forced entry through the door with a crow bar and stole cash.
The Scotia Company at 358 Lisbon St. was burglarized overnight June 16-17. The suspects gained entry by climbing a low roof to a second story window where the suspect forced through a plywood window covering. They then committed extensive vandalism inside the business, no property was stolen.
Bomb Threat
Residents of 40.5 Maple St. had to be evacuated on June 15 at 7:11 p.m. after a tenant received a call threatening that there was a bomb in the building. Officers searched the entirety of the building and located nothing. It is believed to have been a prank call.
Narcotics Arrests
Derek Kay (44) and Tinamarie Landers (23) were arrested for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and probation violations on June 17 at 6:41 p.m. at the Chalet Motel. Officers acting on a tip went to the room where alleged drug dealing was occurring. A search of the room revealed a quantity of crack cocaine.
Operating Under the Influence Arrests
Karen Wing (46) was arrested for operating under the influence on June 15 at 11:01 p.m. at Stetson Rd. / Heather Dr. Officers responded to the area for a report of a car off the road. Upon arrival they discovered a female behind the wheel of a van in a ditch. She was visibly intoxicated and had a blood alcohol level that was three times the legal limit.
Shannon Mason (25) was arrested for operating under the influence on June 16 at 1:11 a.m. at 197 Bartlett St. This was following a routine traffic stop.
Jibril Koshin (30) was arrested for operating under the influence and driving without a license on June 16 at 1:39 a.m. The vehicle was stopped after it blew a red light and nearly caused an accident with a police cruiser.
