Thomas Cook, son of Jody Cook and Randy Cook of Farmington, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine on May 12. He was named to the dean’s list with a 3.7 grade point average for the spring semester.
Following his graduation, he accepted a position with the C.H. Robinson Worldwide Transportation Co. in Portland. Cook will undergo an extensive training program in Minnesota for that company.
His undergraduate activities included membership in the Phi Eta Kappa fraternity, where he served as treasurer during his junior and senior year at UMO. He was also active in the university’s athletic intramural program.
Cook is a 2003 graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington where he was a four-year lacrosse letterman and was named Central Maine Lacrosse Player of the Year following his senior season.
