MIDDLETON, N.H. (AP) – On Saturday, the community gathered at Farmington High School to cheer 18-year-old John Lamantia and his classmates at graduation.

On Wednesday, classmates returned to mourn Lamantia, who was killed Tuesday night in a watercraft crash on Sunrise Lake in nearby Middleton.

Two others were injured.

The Marine Patrol says Lamantia was driving one watercraft with a passenger and doing circles and spraying water with another, driven by a 16-year-old friend. None were wearing a life jacket.
