PORTLAND – The casting team of ABC’s hit reality series “Supernanny” will be here Monday, June 25, in search of families from Maine to appear on the show. Casting producers will join ABC 8 WMTW-TV to interview moms and dads at a screening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Deering Oaks Park.
In each episode of the series airing Monday nights this season, Jo Frost will wrestle even the most unruly kids into shape, imparting effective parenting tools and returning harmony to households.
Producers are looking for neighborhoods of Maine families who ALL can use Supernanny’s help – families preparing for a big event like a wedding or family reunion; sports-obsessed parents; parents with mean girls or bullying boys, teens and preteens.
“Supernanny” will premiere its fourth season later this year. Casting producers will travel west from Maine, searching the country all summer for families from a variety of backgrounds.
Interested families in need of help with their out-of-control kids may apply from anywhere via www.supernanny.com. Parents may also call 877/NANNY TIME (1-877-626-6984) for more information.
Frost’s newest book, “Ask Supernanny,” is an international best seller and follows up her first book “Supernanny: How to Get The Best From Your Kids,” which spent several months on the New York Times best-seller list.
