LEWISTON -David Bottle, of Bochtler Insurance Agency/Allstate Insurance, recently presented a $500 gift to Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. The grant will be used to support ARCH volunteer services at the Hospice House.
Bottle, an ARCH hospice and bereavement volunteer, was instrumental in securing the gift. Awarded through the Allstate Foundation, Agency Hands in the Community Program the award recognizes organizations where their employees volunteer. This is the third year that Allstate Foundation has supported AHCH with a grant.
“Volunteers are vital members of our hospice team, providing support and comfort to patients and their families. Today, AHCH has nearly 200 active hospice volunteers, throughout our service area,” said Laurie Winsor, director of Marketing and Development. “Allstate is to be commended for recognizing the valuable volunteer efforts of their employees by lending their support to local organizations.”
