Dear Sun Spots: Where and who does leather repair on a loveseat? Secondly, might you please recommend someone who tests and cleans electronics that have have been either water or soot/fire damaged? – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
Regarding your leather repair, consider contacting Alan Osborne, a craftsman in East Sumner, at 388-3177. Sun Spots spoke with Osborne who says this can be a challenge especially if you need to replace an entire section on your loveseat. The leather needs to be purchased by the hide, for replacement repairs, if it’s not something like a cushion that needs a section of it replaced. Osborne would be happy to chat with you about your needs. He’s available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Otherwise, please leave him a message to discuss this.

Regarding your question on electronics and water/soot damage: Many thanks to ServiceMaster Clean (539-4452, 800-244-7630) for their tip which led them to Maurice’s Electronics who can assist you. You may reach them at 784-2731.

Dear Sun Spots: The classmates planning the 1977 Livermore Falls High School 30th class reunion have recently discovered that several of the invitations sent out did not reach their destination. We’re not sure why because they all had return addresses and were brought directly to the post office. We want to make sure everyone knows about our upcoming reunion.

It will be held July 21 at the Amvets in Jay at 7 p.m. We’re asking everyone to bring a snack or finger rolls for the table so we can keep your cost down. The cost is $10 per person. Even if you can’t make it, please drop us a line and let us know what you are up to. We really want to see everyone. Please send any responses to Jean Tardif, 22 Fish Meadow Road, Livermore, ME 04253 or call 897-5091. Please help us spread the word. Thanks. – Jean Tardif, Livermore.
