MEXICO – The Mexico Public Library’s “Saddle Up and Read, Bookaroo!” summer reading schedule is set to start.
Monday, July 2: 1 p.m. American Girl Tea Party for girls ages five to 11, led by Jeanie Duguay and Sally Roy. (No story hour on Tuesday, July 3.)
Tuesday, July 10: 10 a.m., special guest program with Robbie White, the “Snake Man,” for children ages two to 11.
Tuesday, July 17: 10 a.m., story hour for children ages two to 11 with Michelle-Boucher Ladd.
Tuesday, July 24: 10 a.m., story and craft hour for preschoolers; 1 p.m., special program on cowboys and cowgirls for children ages give to 11, with Cindy Welch and Elyse Brigss.
Tuesday, July 31: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., story and craft hours.
On Tuesdays when two story hours are listed at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., the earlier event is designed for children ages two to five. The later story hour is for children ages six to 11. If a family has children in both groups, they are invited to bring all children together rather than making two separate trips.
