Danielle Lubuc of Lewiston is one of five Maine students who have recently received a college scholarship from Dem Corps, a nonprofit organization of Maine Democrats organized to empower Democrats as citizens and party members.

She plans to attend Boston College and major in nursing.

Other recipients are: Laura Hand of Kennebunkport, Kerianne Tripp of Saco, Sarah McDonough of Biddeford, and Elizabeth Hains of Portland.
