Sixth graders Tori Denis, center left, and Natalie Rousseau, center right, are the 2007 recipients of the Margaret Cummins Award for Academic Excellence. The award is made in memory of Margaret Cummins, a second-grade teacher at Pettingill School. Denis is the daughter of Robert and Darlene Denis. Rousseau is the daughter of Michael and Paula Rousseau. Joline Marcoux, far left, a colleague of Cummins, presented the award. Ross Cummins, Margaret’s husband, far right, was the co-presenter.
