OTISFIELD – The Finance Committee recommended raising and appropriating $4,000 for protection against milfoil as published in the annual town meeting warrant. They voted against appropriating $5,000 for the Thompson Lake Environmental Association’s Youth Conservation Corps while selectmen voted in favor. The finance committee did not have updated information at the time of their recommendation. Town voters approved the total sum of $9,000 for both. Information included on Wednesday’s B2 of the Oxford Hills edition was incorrectly reported.
