LEWISTON – Studies show that American children, teens and young adults are spending at a rate of approximately $172 billion a year and saving at a rate of $39 billion a year.
National Youth Week for credit unions was held in April. Community Credit Union celebrated by holding several drawings and activities for youths and teens who saved money during that week.
Winners were: Amanda Dulac, Lucas Spurr, Haydn Dumont, Tristan Binette, Owen Poisson, Whitney McMahan, Hannah Coughlin and Corbin Chamberlain.
