10 a.m.: Two shots were heard inside Army Barracks store on Route 16 in Conway, N.H. Witnesses report seeing a young man, armed with a handgun, run into the woods.

Authorities closed the road and urged people to stay inside their homes, businesses.

Helicopters, police officers and trained dogs began a search for a man described as blond, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, in his early-to-mid-20s, and wearing a baseball cap and camouflage shorts.

5 p.m.: Police confirm store manager James Walker, 34, of Denmark, and William Jones, 25, of Walpole, Mass., were killed in the shooting.

6:45 p.m.: Police confirm Gary Jones, 23, of Plymouth, Mass., has died.

Tuesday

Noon: A person matching the description of the suspect was taken into custody in Fryeburg after being spotted walking along railroad tracks outside the former Northland Shoe Building.

3 p.m.: New Hampshire State Police, Oxford County Sheriff’s Department and Fryeburg police hold the suspect at the Fryeburg Police Department.

6 p.m.: Michael L. Woodbury, 31, of Windham is taken from Fryeburg to the Oxford County Jail.
