Bobby Richardson, right, commander of Napoleon Ouellette Post 24, American Legion, Rumford, was named state Post Commander of the Year. The award was presented by Tony Jordon, past national commander, at the state convention in Bangor. Richardson brought the post back from near extinction. He is first vice president for District 5, Oxford County, and has been re-elected for a second term as Post 24 commander. Richardson has brought back Legion baseball and added a Legion motorcycle group and Tuesday night cribbage.
