WAYNE (AP) – Maine State Police on Tuesday were investigating the death of a young woman at the home where she lived with her parents.

The body of Alexandra Mills, 19, was found Tuesday morning by her father at the house on Old Winthrop Road, police said.

State police and members of the state medical examiner’s office were called to the house to investigate. Police initially called the case an unattended death but later said the death was suspicious.

Mills was a graduate of Kents Hill School and was attending the University of Maine in Augusta.
