LEWISTON – Phyllis B. Hachey, 85, died Thursday, July 12, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

She was born in Baring, Jan. 13, 1922, daughter of the late Horace and Hazel (Howland) Polleys.

She graduated from Calais Academy, Class of 1939.

Until her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller with Mechanic Savings Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered for her caring nature.

Surviving are a son, William Hachey of Lewiston; a daughter-in-law, Donna Rushton of Mississippi; two grandchildren, Robbie and Beth; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Hachey; a son, Robert Rushton; a sister, Lydia Brooker; and three brothers, Steve, John and Albert Polleys.
