LEWISTON – Ben Chicoine won the Lewiston Rec Summer Tennis Program’s Singles Tournament.

In early action, he defeated Richard Bradbury (8-0); Mike Bouchard (8-2); and Brett Vallee (8-5).

That placed him in the finals against Eric Morin and Chicoine prevailed 8-3.

Morin’s win over Ethan Pierce (the No. 1 seed and who previously beat Shawn Ricker 8-3), advanced him to the championship round.
