LEWISTON – Victor A. St. Denis, 99, formerly of Maison Marcotte, died Saturday, July 28, at d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born in St. Hermengilde, Quebec, April 12, 1908, the son of Joseph and Alexina (Goyette) St. Denis.

He enjoyed traveling and sports, especially hockey and baseball. He worked for most of his life for Pepperell Mfg.

He is survived by daughters, Irene Wight and husband, Burton, of Lisbon Falls, and Jeannine Shaw and husband, Francis, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Kathleen Wight, Scott Wight and wife, Stacy, Diane Deloux and husband, Gene, Gerald Lepage, David Lepage and wife, Karen; 10 great-grandchildren, Kevin and Jeffrey Cusson, Matthew, Danielle, Aaron and Clare Deloux, Joshua Lepage, and Kayleigh, Nicholas and Cameron Lepage.

He was predeceased by his wife, Liane, who died on Dec. 23, 2004; and sisters, Antoinette Descoteaux and Jeanette Deschene.

A sincere thank you is extended to the staff at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, 2 West, and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion provided to Victor and his family.
