LIVERMORE FALLS – The 2007 Apple Pumpkin Festival Committee has been organizing and planning to make this year’s festival the best ever.

The family fun day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, rain or shine.

There will be recreational and educational activities for “children” of all ages, including games and activities, crafters offering jewelry, wood products, art, home décor, knit items, homewares, organic items, food, demonstrations, music and hay rides.

In addition, the Treat Memorial Library will hold a book give-away from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is asking for donations; the proceeds will be to purchase new books.

The tiger slide and bounce house will be back this year, with new characters, Johnnie and Mitzie Mouse, along with Dukey and Sally Duck.

The Jay-Livermore-Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Apple Pumpkin Festival.

Anyone wishing to volunteer or participate is encouraged to contact Chairperson Erin Nelson at 897-3982, ext. 2214, or the chamber office at 897-6755.
