Between July 30 at 7 a.m. and Aug. 1 at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 304 calls for service. Of those calls, 102 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked at 109 Blake St. had its windshield smashed out overnight July 29-30.

Two windows at 19 Wildwood Drive were damaged with rocks overnight July 29-30.

A vehicle parked in the lot of VIP at 520 Lisbon St. was damaged overnight July 30-31.

Thefts

A stainless steel gas grill was stolen from the Vineyard Church at 9 Foss Road overnight July 29-30. It was unsecured and kept outside.

A vehicle parked at 20 O’Connell St. was burglarized sometime after midnight on July 30. Some cash and fish oil tablets were stolen.

A laptop was stolen from 1 Lincoln Drive prior to 3 p.m. on July 30.

A parking meter was stolen from in front of 25 Chapel St. overnight July 30-31.

Two bicycles were stolen from 68 Prospect Ave. prior to 1 p.m. on July 31, one was described as a red 16-speed LL Bean mountain bike.

Burglaries

A residence at 30 Brown St. had a storm door to the garage cut sometime overnight July 29-30. It is believed the suspect was unsuccessful in gaining entry.

An apartment at 16 Hillside Lane was burglarized prior to July 30. There were no signs of forced entry, a Nintendo 64, games, and DVDs were taken.

Motor Vehicle Theft

A Green 2003 Kawasaki KLX125L was stolen from in front of 64 Highland Ave. sometime between July 30-31. The bike was chained to a tree and was for sale, the suspect cut the chain, and there were no witnesses to any of the activity.

Motor Vehicle Burglary Suspect

A 16-year-old juvenile was summonsed for burglary to a motor vehicle after he called and confessed that he was in posession of property which he had stolen from several vehicles in the Rachel Blvd. area between one and two weeks ago. Officers are still trying to identify the owners of several of the items.

Drug Trafficking Arrest

Michael Mecham, 18, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of bail conditions on July 30 at 11:30 p.m. Information was received that Mecham was hiding a large quantity of crack inside of his apartment. Officers were allowed to search the residence, where they found 8.1 grams of crack cocaine hidden in the ceiling in rock form.

The department is looking for Andrew Franco, 29; he is wanted on several warrants as well as a probation hold.

The department is looking for Raymond Williams, 38; he is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for disorderly conduct.
