Meet the coaches

DIXFIELD – The Dirigo High School fall “Meet the Coaches” Night will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. All students planning to participate in football, soccer, cross country, golf, field hockey and fall cheering should attend.

The meeting will be held at the high school and will provide necessary forms. Coaches will meet with the athletic director from 6:30 to 7 p.m.; athletes and their parents will meet with the athletic director and the coaches from 7 to 7:30 p.m.; and individual team meetings will be held from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

65th reunion

FARMINGTON – The 65th reunion of the class of 1942 at Farmington High School will meet at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Granary for lunch and a time of reminiscing.

Classmates are expected from Washington state, California and up and down the eastern seaboard. More than 30 of the original 70 classmates are expected to attend. Forty of the 70 are still alive.

Local classmates are invited to participate in the Saturday and Sunday morning activities.
