Dear Sun Spots: Thanks for all the helpful information. At one time I got a catalog, I believe it was in Vermont and was called the Country Store. Could you please find the address for me. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for your service. I have become quite addicted to your column. My question is whether or not the Sun Journal will be hosting the Taste of Home Cooking School again this fall? We missed having it locally last year and are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be back. Thank you! – Lindsey in Oxford.

Answer:
Sun Spots has learned that the Sun Journal hopes to bring back this show in the fall of 2008, but unfortunately will not be doing a show this year. Sun Spots would encourage you to please contact Jody Jalbert via e-mail at [email protected] or via phone at 689-2913 with any further questions on this event.

This is certainly a popular event here locally and Sun Spots has seen those lines of people queuing up for the event in the past.

Dear Sun Spots: My sister and partner recently passed away within two weeks of each other. They had two lovely cats who were the center of their lives. The cats are about 5 years old, spayed females and fluffy. They desperately need a loving home, perhaps with an older person(s) and not near any main streets. Although they went outdoors, they are litter-box trained, too. Hopefully there is someone out there who would enjoy and love these two personable sisters. One is black and white and the other one is a dark tiger. Their shots are up-to-date and their immunization records are available. They shared their folks with a dog for a while. Please phone 539-2563 in Oxford for further information. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I am hoping that this note can give help to the lady who wrote an article on July 30 seeking someone to take her crocheted squares that she had started and can no longer finish.

I will gladly take them, if not already gone. She may phone me at 364-3784. Please ask for Karen. Thank you. – Karen, No Town.
