PORTLAND – Tri-Maine Productions in Portland is sponsoring an Olympic-distance triathlon and a health-oriented festival in Portland on August 18. It will feature athletes from across the United States. Proceeds will benefit the Jessie B-C Fund that supports Maine Children’s Cancer Program. The event, to take place at the East End Beach and at 58 Fore St., will begin at 7 a.m. The festival opens at 11:00.
