OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) – A convicted robbery getaway driver is in trouble after allegedly showing off weapons on MySpace.com and bragging on the social networking site about drinking and using drugs, prosecutors say.
Probation Officer Charles Wolfort said he learned from a source that Brice Chase, 19, was posting his drug preferences online, along with photos of him showing off a handgun and two swords.
At Chase’s house, officials reported finding the weapons and evidence of drug use. Chase served a year in jail, but could go back on probation violations. Chase was convicted of being the getaway driver in a February, 2006, convenience store robbery in Conway and of burglary and being an accomplice to armed robbery in Bartlett.
