WELD – At 7 p.m. today, Aug. 20, the Tumbledown Conservation Alliance is gathering on the shore of Webb Lake at the camp of Gwyn Sewall for updates on what has been happening in the Mt. Blue/Tumbledown region, and the latest efforts to conserve land and improve public access here. This will also be the group’s annual meeting.

To get to the Sewalls’ camp: From the General Store at the village center of Weld, take Route 142 north about 3/4 mile to Cement Culver Lane. Go down Cement Culvert, staying to the left until you are almost at the end of the road. The red camp is the Sewalls.

FMI: call the Sewalls at 585-2522 or Pam Prodan at 645-9330.
