LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Carey Hamel and Jeffrey Loukides, both of Merrimack, N.H.

Miss Hamel is the daughter of Bruce and Claire Beaulieu of Sabattus and Steve Hamel of Lewiston. She is a 1992 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1996 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She received her master’s degree in 2004 from the University of Phoenix and is a consultant with Aon.

Mr. Loukides is the son of Steve and Leta Loukides of Nashua, N.H. He is a 1992 graduate of Nashua High School and is a district contractor services manager for the Home Depot Inc.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, N.H.
