From Mike Cloutier, Director of Golf at Paris Hill: Practice your short game. This is a short-game course. You might want to leave your driver right at home. If I were a big hitter, that’s what I would do. Putting a chipping is a key out here. The 100-yard shots. If you’ve got those down, you’ll score well. If you don’t, it could be a long day for you.

If you go:

From the Lewiston/Auburn Area: Take Minot Ave. in Auburn (Route 121) north through Mechanic Falls. At the intersection of Routes 121 and Route 26 in Oxford, take a right. Follow Route 26 through Oxford, Norway and into South Paris. Continue to follow Route 26, turning left at the intersection of Routes 26, 117 and 119. Less than a half mile later, take a right onto Paris Hill Road. Continue to bear right up the hill. The clubhouse will be approximately two miles ahead on the right.

From the Maine Turnpike/I-95: Take Exit 63 (Gray), and follow Route 26, turning left at the intersection of Routes 26, 117 and 119. Less than a half mile later, take a right onto Paris Hill Road. Continue to bear right up the hill. The clubhouse will be approximately two miles ahead on the right.
