AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Ashley Sebesta and Jeffrey Smith, both of Auburn.

Miss Sebesta is the daughter of Lisa and Michael Costello of Monmouth and Lane Sebesta and Laurie Hancock of Waynesville, N.C. She is a 2001 graduate of Monmouth Academy and attended the University of Maine at Orono. She is currently employed at TD Banknorth in Lewiston.

Mr. Smith is the son of Brenda Smith of St. Peters, Mo., and Kirk Smith of Norfolk, Va. He is a 2000 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is currently employed at Maine Oxy in Auburn.

A May 25 wedding will be held at Village by the Sea in Wells.
