The Norway High School Class of 1947 held a reunion recently. Norway High ’47 celebrates 60th

NORWAY – Twelve members and seven spouses of the living 20 of the Norway High School Class of 1947 recently held their 60th reunion at the Town and Country Mobile Home Park Recreation Center.

Maureen Hall Albright and Doris Murphy Roy died this year. Twelve of the original 32 graduates are now deceased.

A light lunch was served and a special cake was cut and served by Maxine Sessions and Ethel Lacourse. Memorabilia was displayed by several class members. Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts were invited guests, as were spouses of deceased members.

The following attended the Norway High School alumni reunion that evening at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mack (Richard spoke for the class), Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wiley, Mr. and Mrs. William Hall, Mr. and Mrs. William Stickney, Maxine Sessions, Ethel Lacourse and Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts, who sat with the class at the banquet.
