Hartford girls win ribbons

CUMBERLAND – Two Hartford girls won ribbons at the Maine mini horse show at Cumberland Fairgrounds on Aug. 5.

Jennifer Hammond won three ribbons. This was her second year for showing mini horses. She won her first first-place ribbon in novice showmanship, a third-place ribbon in country pleasure driving and a fourth-place ribbon in trail class. She is the daughter of Jeff and Paula Hammond of Hartford.

Michele Boutin won a first-place ribbon in youth showmanship class. This is her first year for showing mini horses. She is the daughter of Mike and Denise Boutin of Hartford.

Beth and Bob Pulsifer of Livermore are the owners of “Velvet,” with which the girls train.
