ORONO – The 6th annual Bank Leaders of Tomorrow Conference will be held here on Sept. 26 at the Buchanan Alumni House at the University of Maine campus.
Sponsored by the Maine Bankers Association, the goal of the conference is to prepare and motivate emerging leaders to advance the future of the financial services industry in Maine.
The conference begins with a fireside chat between 6 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 25, and will start with a light buffet and then be moderated by Peter Blyberg, president and CEO of Union Bankshares Co.
The conference on Sept. 26 will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with speakers including former Gov. Angus King, psychologist and ethics expert Chris Bauer, and Jake Ward, assistant vice president of the University of Maine Research, Economic Development and Government Relations.
