LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon High School Class of 2009 is sponsoring a Fall Festival at the high school from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, rain or shine.
A variety of games for children of all ages will be featured. A number of exhibits and projects will be on display, including homemade crafts, flowers, a pumpkin patch, face painting, cake walk, air brush tattoos and a book and media swap.
The Lisbon Rotary Club will be on hand with its “duck pond,” and members of the Lisbon Fire Department will do demonstrations with the fire prevention trailer.
Raffles will be held on two dog houses, a firewood box and a quilt, all made by Lisbon High School students.
A scrapbooking event with lunch and door prizes will also be part of the festival. Reservations are requested for the scrapbooking.
During the festival, orders for the Community Cookbook featuring recipes from Sen. Olympia Snowe, Stephen King and other local gourmets will be accepted by students. The cookbook will be published and distributed before the holiday season. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2009.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day. For more information, contact Karen Pelletier at 353-2802 or e-mail [email protected].
