PARIS – The Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris, in conjunction with the Western Maine Veterans Advisory Committee, will host a POW-MIA program at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Boy Scout Troop 196 will raise the colors, and Garrett Hasslett will follow with his rendition of the National Anthem. A band will be present to perform a variety of patriotic musical selections.

Western Maine Veterans’ Advisory Committee has donated a special POW-MIA memorial stone, which will be dedicated during the program. The memorial will have a special place between the flags at the front of the Maine Veterans’ Home.

The guest speaker will be Ron Sailor, American Legion department adjutant.

The public is invited to attend, refreshments will be served and tours of the facility will be available.
