AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA has announced that registration for the 2007 field hockey program, in its 14th season, is under way.

The program will run from Sept. 15 to Oct. 20 and will be held on Saturday mornings at the Auburn Middle School. The program has three divisions: Pee Wee: grades one and two, instructional only; Junior, grades three and four; and Intermediate, grades five through eight.

Participants will receive the fundamentals of field hockey through a combination of skills, drills and scrimmages.

Players need to provide their own stick, shin guards and mouthpiece. Everyone will receive a certificate and a YMCA field hockey T-shirt for participating in the program.
